| I have owned several NSU cars including the sport prinz, prinz 4, prinz 1000 and the 1200 TT. The NSU cars in general was well made, relatively expensive cars compared with the similar makes of the era! Mechanically of high quality and very reliable. Performance was very good with the TT and TTS outstanding! I have many times stunned Cooper owners by showing them my backlights! With a little tuning they went wild, easily revving 8000 rpm with a sound u would not believe! Due to that, many was used for hillclimbs and other racing as well as driven hard on an everyday basis! That may be the cause of them having a reputation of low quality as many second hand cars sold was allready worn out! But treated right it was allways reliable and a pleasure to drive! |
