hello every1,
I have seen a 1972 Toyota mark2 around. the owner is giving it away pretty cheap. i am considering to get it and convert into a muscle car. i have always been fascinated by the shape of old car. So just for a change am willing to go all the way to convert this car. I am wondering what engine can fit into it if I want to keep the current gear box along with trans axle. In a way i just want an engine swap to give the car some life.
Any ideas? Or if I rebuild the same engine (carb) is there anything I could do to get more power from it? I mean reworking the compression ratios? plz advise if anyone has done it before.
