I own a 1999 S-80 that I cannot keep on the road! I have put $1,350 in repairs on this car in less than 10K miles and I now need to invest another $1,600 to get it back on the road.
Needless to say, I am done with this car! The costs for regular maintenance and repairs are around $300 per month, plus the car payment. I canĀ“t afford this car.
I plan to approach the Volvo dealership to trade in for another car. My questions:
What model/year should I try to trade into? (monthly payment less than $350 would be nice). I have read that the S70 99 or 2000 are good cars.
Has anyone had any luck pushing back to a dealership, or Volve for that matter, in trying to get a very fair trade in value?  |
