| Friend of mine bought a 2005 S-Type 2.5 V6 in April 2007 from the Importer in Thailand. After exactly 3 1/2 years with approx. 40,000 kms the car is now at the garage (only 1 official here in Bangkok), who provided a quotation for the repair of the transmission for USD 7,700.-. Guarantee expired after 3 years. Is this a normal problem or should I make a lot of noise, as this car\´s new price tag was USD 145,000.- Thanks for your advice! |
