On February 19th, 1999, in Abbotsford, BC, my Dad, Edwin Albert Thoreson, purchased a car from a gentleman named Henry Edge. My Dad had visions of restoring the car to its original beauty and proudly displaying it as his own piece of history. The transfer paper stated that the car was white in color, when in reality it had been repainted green, which didn\\\´t really go too well with the golden grill, wheel covers and headlight basils. Resisting numerous offers to buy the car he tried to do as much as he could on it until 2003 when his legs weakened from age finally gave out, resulting in a serious fall.
