i own and run a Jensen SV*,I have my car 5 years apart from the inital modifications i had to make when i first purchased the car from Jensen it has run faultlessly for the last 5 years,i now have about 14k on the clock and its showing no signs of any problems as yet.The Jensen factory used quality components on this vehicle,however the actual build quality was not great from the factory,so i have spent most of my time doing bits and pieces,such as removing bolts and putting washers in and then putting the bolts back,general fit and finish stuff such as new footwell carpets,as the factory fit ones werent cut very well.the car suffers from the negles of a classic car.As a drivers car its a very comfortable crusier for motorways,i have taken mine to germany and austria on a few occasions,its fast,its fantastic in the summer with the roof down and being 1 of 11 made its an attension grabber,there nothing like it on the road,oh and its a V8 so it makes all the right sounds,I love it,If your thinking of buying one expect similar quality and fit and finish as that of a tvr expect to spend a couple of weekends a year fixing little neggles such as lose bolts or screws and resticking carpet or trim down,if you can put up with that you will have a nice unique car to whizz round in.
I wont be selling mine soon,but if your looking for one i believe osselli have one for sale. |
