I own a 2006 Model B2500 Turbo-Diesel bought as a second hand car. I am worried about the following which my Mazda garage in Swaziland have been telling me a lot of stories of my worries to an extent that the car still have the problems.
i) The Rev counter sometimes shows the revs sometimes not. How is the rev indicator connected to the engine speed? Is it gear linked or electronically linked?
ii) Engagement of gears is very stiff with the exception of gear number 4, 5 and reverse gears. My Swaziland Mazda garage have changed the Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate and the release bearing ( Clutch Kit ) but still there is no difference. What do you think could be the problem?
iii) My side mirrors are also not functioning. The Swaziland Garage told me the switch was faulty. I asked them to replace it. I was in-turn told the car burnt the switch. I was thereafter confused and decided to withdraw the car for the mirrors to be sorted out.
Could you please advise on estimated costs fo fix these problems one by one if possible so that I may set up a saving programe per fault.
