I have a Mercedes Benz 170A cab. that I cannot match to any known photos, biggest item is that it has a two piece windshield that is part of the body work and not a added on piece of chrome work, the windows can be tilted out forward. The trunk lid deck area has no provisions to carry a spare tire, and no spare tire wells on the front fenders, this could be a one-off. It wes sold initially to an U S Army officer in 1946 and alledged to be a new car, but I believe it was really made up privately from stored parts from 1934. I would be very appreciative of any feedback, should I restore this as a valued car from the 1930s or should I make a hotrod out of what has some real classic lines?  |
