Hi. I bought a Chevy Spark 2006 model about a year ago as it seemed to be the most economical car and very compact as I just started out learning how to drive. What I\´m having a problem with is the fact that when I start up the car, I need to let it stand idle for about 3 minutes before I can actually drive comfortably. I need to make sure that the needle point on the temperature gauge is just past the C. Otherwise, I need to constantly keep my foot on the accelerator and clutch to first gear when I get to a stop. The car will then switch off if I don\´t give enough petrol. This is soooo frustrating. What happens when I can\´t spare those three minutes before I pull away. Also, it also sounds like I\´m over revving the car whenever I switch gears. I;m only picking up on these things now cos I\´ve been letting others drive me around while being too lazy to drive myself. Others can drive straight after a cold start easy...old drivers that is but I don\´t want to. What can I do??  |
