I am a 51 year-old pastor who find driving not only as a necessary part of my ministerial activities but as a means of dealing with the stressful life it (pastoring) brings. Last May 2011 I acquired a preowned 1996 model Pajero from a dealer of used Japanese cars. So far I enjoyed driving this legendary Paris-Dakar hero. The stability and mountain road abilities are great as I drove it several times up and down Baguio City via Kennon Road from where I live in Taguig City, Manila. The Pajero gave me no problem for more than a year of pleasant driving. Lately, it began manifesting engine stalling as if the diesel is having a hard time getting to the fuel combustion system. I recall having loaded diesel from doubtful service stations (not among the big three) which may have pumped impurities into the tank. Haven\´t have the time to have it serviced yet. What could the problem be?  |
