| My first car and one I miss quite a bit. Put 105k miles on it over 8 plus yrs. and had very few issues.(all minor) Never left me on the side of the road and I drove it across U.S. from NY to AZ and back 7 times. So far ahead of the cars of it´s era with fwd, fanless radiator,all aluminum block and head,rack and pinion,independent suspension,spare tire over engine giving it huge trunk, inboard brakes, and water cooled H-4 design. Bought new in 72 for $2100 out the door taxes and fees included. A beast in the snow, nothing seemed to stop it. Rust of central NY salt killed it or I might still be driving it. |
