Hi from British Columbia Canada,
My son and daughter-in-law were given an 85 Cressi as a wedding present...it was 12 years old and had 27k. My son used it as his daily commuter and put another 120k on it.
Last summer I aquired a nice STS Cadillac that they took an interest in and they planned to sell their Cressi to buy my Caddy.
Wanting to be sure they really wanted the Caddy, I traded cars for a few days so they could try the Caddy out. As I drove the Cressi (it needed a little work) I came to the realization that it was a fun and interesting car to drive. I decide to swap vehicles.
I put on new shocks, new exhaust, new radiator and new tires. Now we´re talkin´! This is one great motoring machine. It has the feel of a BMW and is so comfortable to drive. I´ve never driven a smoother or quieter vehicle, in fact, you have to be careful that you don´t start it twice because with any amount of ambient sound you don´t hear it idiling. The overdrive system is top-notch engineering, the marriage of motor and transmission is flawless. Lots of power when and where you need it, but mostly the motor purrs along at 2500 rpm. Braking very confident and firm. In short, I can´t say enough about this car. |
