I am Lenine Manuel, I live in Angola, west Africa.
Recently I have bought, a brand new chevrolet Captiva, after 1500 km, the orange light on the panel control with the engine sign came on. In the begining it could be on and somethime off but nothing un-normal.
I took it to the dealer and claim, they said it was nothing serious as they put the car on the system to detect if there was sothing wrong and nothing was detected but the light went off.
one week after the light came on again and now, when the light is on the engine looses power, and it develops very slowly, you can press the gas pedal to the end but the engine does not corresport.
I took it again to the dealler and they said that the car has been equiped with unti-polution system which is not working properly in Angola as the car was built to a country with different wheather and so on.
I just wanted to bring this to the discussion, in case there are some other people having the same problem or my car has a fabrication problem.
