I have a 1963 Austin Princess Limousine. I have had a difficult time getting it restored. At first, it was in a shop in Atlanta, Georgia that went bankrupt and they shipped it to a shop in Woodstock, Ga. without notifying me. The Woodstock left the car out in the rain where it had been in a garage for 14 years and overhauled the engine and transmission and differential and performed a brake overhaul. I believe it developed rust outside.
Then MacPherson College agreed to put it in queue to be repaired and had it picked up from Woodstock and put in storage in MacPherson for several years. The management of the restoration school changed and they refused to repair the car and recommended a local shop. The local shop worked on it for many years and charged a lot and never made much progress. I have recently moved it to a body shop, they are used to having parts available and don\´t fabricate parts. I am looking for someone who has knowledge about the car, manuals, parts or experience. The car was a running car when I sent it to MacPherson and now is in pieces.
Is there anyone who could help?
