I am interested in any information about the 1963 Austin Princess limousine. My brother bought his from a Mr. Richard Wheale at Bexleys of Brookland, UK in 1984. Mr. Wheale said the car was the same body and chassis of a Rolls Phantom V with a different grill and different engine. I am not sure this is so, the body was by Vanden Plas and it seems some Phantom V bodies were made by another company. I am interested in all knowledge, parts availability and service manuals. I have been trying to have the car restored since 1998. One restorer went out of business, the second did some mechanical repair, McPherson college was to take the car and stored it for years and then refused to work on it and another restorer spent years charging money every two weeks without making much progress. I found another restoration place and the owner died. It is in a body shop now, but they are used to being able to order parts and replace, not fabricate.
