Looking at pictures of Healeys makes me wonder if anyone of you found & restored my Sprite on Route 80 in Pennsylvania in May-June 1975. Some friends & I were heading to new jobs in Indiana from NJ when I blow a rod through the crank case. I guess I didn\´t do such a good job on the new cam bearings prior to the trip. I couldn\´t afford to tow it & the other cars were overloaded already so I left it with the keys & manual. Never heard from any authorities so I always hoped it found a new home & is still out there. I had it painted GABBER ORANGE over the original blue.  |
